Hobbie - ADOPTED!!

Hobbie has a new forever home!!!  His listing is below:

Hobbie is another terribly sad story of a beagle who has not had a good life at all. He was found at the Hobby airport in Houston on Dec. 20, and he has been shot at least 3 times (3 pellets remain in his abdomen). He also was either dragged under a car or worse yet, perhaps tortured because he has multiple scars on his back. He also had a broken pelvis which repaired itself about 6 - 8 months ago.

The orthopedist who evaluated Hobbie's x-rays was amazed at this little tyke. This boy is a SURVIVOR!! He is a young one, not more than a year old, and in spite of all his troubles he bears NO grudges against humans. He is cheerful, fun-loving, playful and cute! When he came in, he was extremely skinny, but now he is putting on weight and chasing around like the puppy he should be! Hobbie weighs just under 20 lbs. and seems to be a beagle/rat terrier mix.

Hobbs is looking for a home with another dog since he is a "playing machine" or perhaps someone who wants to give him the attention he craves. He is very affectionate and easily attached to humans. Hobbs loves to go in the car and on the leash, also is a cuddler.

As the vet said, one's first impression upon seeing the little guy is "oh my gosh, poor dog! and the second impression is "wow, what an amazing dog!"
