BEAGLES SEIZED BY SPCA
SCOUT

Scout has made probably the most dramatic recovery of any of the SPCA seizure beagles. He was so emaciated that he could not even stand up straight when brought in to the shelter. He stayed behind at the SPCA for 2 weeks after the other 4 boys had gone off to foster homes, gaining the necessary strength to go under the knife for his neuter.

Look at the handsome guy now! You would never guess anything about his past life of neglect! He is shiny and happy and spoiled in his foster home. He loves to go on rides in the car, on walks, to the park, and best of all, to McDonald's! He sits nicely on a seat in the back of the van looking out the window at the world, and waiting for his foster parents to share a few fries with him!

Scout is a versatile guy. He craves human attention but he also is thrilled to be able to dash around playing "tag" with his foster beagle buddy. He is equally happy to just hang out with the pudgy senior beagle in the foster home, as well, curled up on a pillow beside her. One special request he has for his "forever" home would be a secure yard that he could patrol each morning to find out what critters had passed through there the night before, while he slept soundly in his dog bed indoors! Scout is not much of a barker but you can actually hear him "snorting" that beagle-y nose from fence to fence each morning, sniffing joyfully!
