Ellie
She's
doing great. She and Murphy are a lot more comfortable
with one another - and they're often wrestling around or
chasing each other and having fun. She's
very sweet and has a way of charming everyone she meets.
She's beginning to figure out that she and Murph have
SEPERATE food bowls -
and that it's NOT OK for her to eat his food, (not that it
stops her from
trying when no one's looking.....), and there have been a
couple of nights
when she woke up quite early, needing to go outside and then
wanting to
play...but we understand she's a smaller dog, (with a smaller
bladder),
so this sort of thing is going to happen from time to time.
But again, all in all - it's going great. She's just as
nice as we had hoped for, cute and snuggly as can be, a great
playmate for Murph...she's not making a mess in the house,
she's not trying to chew anything but her toys....it's all
good.
We are really glad we looked for another beagle through
rescue organizations,
like we did when we got Murphy. We're absolutely convinced
it's the only
way to go - and we continue to encourage others to do the
same.
Thanks again for letting us adopt her. We really appreciate
it. And, thanks for continuing to work on behalf of
these little guys! |
