Scout
 When
it is a match, you know it. That is how my husband Bill felt
when he first saw Scout. There were many beautiful beagles at
HBHR's Saturday Petsmart outing, but Scout was the right girl
for us.
Four years ago we adopted
Annie (formerly "Winnie"), another HBHR dog. She was an old
dog when we got her. We knew her time with us would be short.
Annie passed away in June. Our house without a beagle seemed
so empty so we contacted HBHR.
Scout is 6 years old, but has
already made herself at home. She has such a good disposition
that we knew she was truly loved in her former home. Our
Oriental Shorthair cat already greets her nose to nose and
gives here tail rubs.
