Pickles
 Although
it has only just been a month since we adopted Pickles (we
changed her name from Lucinda), she fits in as though we’ve
had her forever. Pickles gets along beautifully with our other
beagle, Phoebe, and they love to play chase in the yard. I
enjoy taking the beagles to our son Max’s baseball games,
where many people admire, pet, and ask about them, and Pickles
loves the attention.
 I
always take the opportunity to share our story of adopting
Pickles from Houston Beagle & Hound Rescue. As Pickles is very
affectionate, well-behaved, and intelligent, I tell them we
got all the joy of getting a lovely new family member without
the hassles of housebreaking and training.
