Bates joined my family in August 2015 and we couldn’t be more pleased. He’s a great companion, squirrel chaser, and lover of fruits and veggies. He had a slight hitch in his rear leg when adopted, but over time he developed acute IVDD. We are now 3 months post-op and Bates is doing better than ever. Bates prances around the neighborhood and is adored by all our neighbors. Not much of a chew toy or fetch dog, Bates prefers to patrol our back yard, lounge on one of his many dog beds, or curl up on the couch as my lap dog. I can’t say enough about the joy he brings to our lives. Thanks Houston Beagle and Hound Rescue for all you do!
