Sherlock
Just want you to know that I have had Sherlock the beagle for almost 2 years now – Adopted him from Houston Beagle Rescue in June 2009 – and he is really just the greatest beagle ever. My previous beagle, Charlotte, died in April 2009 at the age of almost 13, and I was sure that no other beagle could be as special – but Sherlock is just as special and wonderful.

My previous beagle, Charlotte, died in April 2009 at the age of almost 13, and I was sure that no other beagle could be as special – but Sherlock is just as special and wonderful.
He has a very unique bark/sound and sounds like a honking goose/baby seal, and it endears him to everyone that hears him. He loves all dogs, all people, all kids and any kind of food. He is a joy to have around and has even helped some fearful kids overcome their fear of dogs.
I just wanted to say Thank You for everything you do for beagles and those of us lucky enough to get one. I made a donation just now as a small token of thanks. Sherlock just turned 6 in February (we think) and we had a birthday party for him and 8 other doggie friends.
Attached are a few pictures of Sherlock – he makes me smile every day and my whole family loves him to death.
