Duncan (formerly Spuds)
It has now been a year since we adopted this special little boy. He has been such a wonderful addition to our family, he’s like having a fourth child! He runs and plays along with my other three children and then follows me around just like the rest of them. He’s also our workout buddy, since he loves to take long runs. He can run 3+ miles with my husband or I and then come home and run around the yard like it’s a racetrack. At night, he sleeps with the baby until my husband and I go to bed, where he sleeps soundly in his dog bed. He’s a very picky boy. We spoil him rotten with dog treats. We don’t have to worry about him wanting table food, because the few times the kids have dropped something he isn’t interested. Although, we have found he will eat a stray Cheerio or Triscuit, and he also stole a plate of Thanksgiving turkey. I can’t blame him, who doesn’t love turkey? I can’t thank you guys enough for allowing us to adopt Duncan. Our family just wouldn’t be the same without him.
