- You want to foster, but due to other obligations in your life, you cannot make a long-term commitment to foster right now.
- You want to be foster parent, but don’t want to get too attached to a beagle if they stay with you too long.
The Beagle Pit Stop short-term fostering program allows you to try fostering a beagle for as little as a weekend stay or up to a maximum of two weeks. Our foster parents need a loving, safe home to leave their foster beagles when they go on a trip or just need a break to take care of other personal commitments. Beagles are very social, so they enjoy meeting new people and doing new things. A weekend stayover or even a week or two stay helps them with their socialization development to get them ready for adoption. We will provide everything needed for a stayover – food, treats, toys, blanket and even a doggie bed if you don’t have one.
